B9 (Benign) - #1 definition on www.dictionary.com is gracious.

Fate - something that happens to you that you have no control over.

Just like God's gift to us in His Son, Jesus Christ. It is a free and gracious gift, given to us freely. All you have to do is accept it.

More about the band:

Yvonne started singing in as a performer in 2006 and shortly after that she started writing and singing her own music. She had been singing all her life, participating in church choir, school chorus, and high school musicals. Often singing special music at church, originally using accompaniment CDs, she later learned to play the guitar so she could accompany herself. She has found a passion in making music for the Lord - a muscianary if you will.

Yvonne started playing with a bass player for a while off and on. He decided to move on to other things. Yvonne's daughter, Sarah, had been taking guitar lessons from a friend for about six months. Just off the cuff, Yvonne joked that she should start playing bass and she could play with her. At her next lesson she asked if bass was harder or easier than guitar. We were buying a bass for her by the next weekend!

Jacob, Yvonne's son had been taking drum set lessons at school. Jacob and Sarah both started playing with their mother in 2008. B9 Fate was born.

In the summer of 2011, Jacob and Sarah quit the band. Yvonne is now joined by Patti Moses on keyboards, Gary Yerger on bass, and Dave Ruth on lead guitar.
